Autobiography for Quais du Polar
« Napoleon would have said of Poland: “Six months of snow, six months of mud and they call it a country”. As one understands, the country does not lend itself to the development of holiday resorts, same thing for the vines, on the other hand, what a wonderful climate to grow corpses ! This last enterprise being successful, I inform you with joy that the crime novels of the country are like Poland: cold, dark and depressing. But they are also full of irony and uncompromising black humour. At the head of the Slavic detectives: the prosecutor Teodore Szacki. »
