About
Xavier Hacquard (a graduate of the Iris school of photography and collector of all kinds of tyres) and Vincent Loison (a graduate of the Ecole du Louvre) met in 2001 and created the collective Les Pictos. They travelled throughout Europe, together or alone, as photographic reporters for various agencies. Since 2006, several exhibitions have been devoted to their work. In March 2021, their first monograph was published: Belles Rencontres (published by La Grange Batelière), the result of their meetings with French-speaking crime writers.
