Antoine Renand is a French screenwriter, director and writer. He has written and directed short films. He is the author of several screenplays of feature films in production and two novels published in the collection La Bête noire by the Robert Laffont Éditions : L’Empathie (finalist of the 2019 Maison de la Presse prize) and Fermer les yeux ( 2020).

I would probably have liked to be a lawyer. Or a policeman. Private detective. Becoming a judge would certainly have pleased me. Exercise as a shrink, to study humans. Robber, killer, in my dark moments. In the end I prefer to write, to be a little of everything at the same time.
