After a master’s degree in philosophy, Antonin Varenne travels the world: Iceland, Mexico… Guyana and Alaska are the last two countries he has discovered. With his book “Fakirs” (2009), he received the “Sang d’encre” Award and the Michel Lebrun Award. Then, the Quais du Polar/20 Minutes Award with his book “Le Mur, le Kabyle et le Marin” (The Wall, the Kabylian and the Sailor) in 2011. In 2014, he published “Trois mille chevaux vapeur” (Three Thousands Horses Steamers) at Albin Michel editions.
