Gilda Piersanti, Italian by birth, has lived in France for many years. She is a philosopher and Italian translator and has also curated several exhibitions in Rome. Since 2003, she has been writing crime novels in French, published by Le Passage. In Les Saisons Meurtrières, Gilda Piersanti frequently tackles the themes of art or architecture, recent history or the singularities of Italian society, and immerses her readers in the unique atmosphere of the Eternal City, far from the tourist clichés or the expected scenes.
