Iain Levison, born in Scotland in 1963, arrived in the US in 1971. He worked for ten years various odd jobs, driver house painter trucks, angler mover in Alaska ! All these jobs will inspire his first book, A Working Stiff’s Manifesto. Success will come to France with Since the Layoffs and novels that follow.

My name is Iain Levison, and I was in trouble with the law for 15 years, including ten arrests and one imprisonment.  Crime writing is the only legal job where this is actually a benefit.
