Juan José Martínez


Juan José MARTÍNEZ is a Salvadoran anthropologist. He has studied gangs and violence since 2008 and has collaborated with various institutions such as UNICEF, Action on Armed Violence and American University.

I am an anthropologist and columnist. I write about gangs and violence. Since 2010, I have sent everything waltzing and I have bet on writing independant investigations which became books like the one I present to you at this festival.
