Julien Monier


Julien Monier was born in 1980 in the Paris where he studied sociology. Always attracted to the artistic fields, it is first of all to music that he devotes himself within a group by singing and playing the trombone. The drawing then quickly become his first interest. Thus, he began to illustrate children’s books, (in particular:  Mnémo, le gardien des mots or Le cirque des animaux sauvages) then comics with a darker and atypical universe.

Julien Monier is reasonably kind and polite. And as much as possible, clean. Which is not bad. But the whole world strives to make him draw horrors in increasingly dark thrillers. Wonder why …
