About
Kim Un-su was born in Busan, South Korea, in 1972. As a child, Kim Un-su walked among the streets of Upper Busan, where poor families and hooligans lived. He published his first texts, short stories, in magazines in 2002 and 2003 before releasing a first novel, totally crazy, mocking and paranoid, in 2006, Le Placard (Gingko Publisher). In 2010 he published his first thriller, Les Planificateurs (L’Aube, 2016) which guaranteed him a worldwide success.
Sang chaud was published in Korea in 2017. It has already been sold in a dozen countries including Doubleday (publisher of Dan Brown among others, Stieg Larsson) .Kim received the MunhakDongne Fiction Award for Le Placard in 2006, and was a finalist of the 2016 Police Literature prize for Les Planificateurs.
