Luc Chomarat published his first novel at the age of twenty-two, which led him to appear on the list of the Literary Magazine of the best living authors of detective stories. Also a translator for Jim Thompson, he received the Grand Prize in detective literature for his novel Un trou dans la toile in 2016 (Rivages) and published Le Polar de d’été (La Manufacture de livres, 2017) and Un petit chef-d’oeuvre de littérature (Marest, 2018).
