Rita Falk

Rita Falk was born in Upper Bavaria, in 1964. Her career as a writer is motivated by the desire to write funny novels. After a first marriage, she marries a policeman from Munich who will be his “private counselor” for all his technical-police questions. With her first detective novel  Winterkartoffelknödel starring Franz Eberhofer, she created the surprise of a bestseller, quickly followed by others just as successful.

Autobiography for Quais du Polar

Rita Falk writes detective novels that all have her native Bavarian setting and by wise precaution she married a police chief. She spares herself tedious research and can devote herself to her murderous affairs and their wacky characters.
