Serge Quadruppani

About

Born in 1952 in the Var region of France, Serge Quadruppani lives in the Limousin region of France and has published essays, investigations and historical novels, but has mainly written noir novels. He participated in the creation of the character of Le Poulpe and the launch of the related collection at Editions de la Baleine, and created the “Alias” collection at Fleuve Noir. Since 1999, with Giancarlo De Cataldo and Andrea Camilleri, he has given a new dimension to his activity as a translator by making Italian authors known in France. He directs the Italian Library at Editions Métailié. La Nuit de la dinde was awarded the Prix du roman du Var 2003 and the Prix interlycées professionnels de Nantes 2004. The author also received the Readers’ Prize at the Quais du polar festival in 2011 for his book Saturne (Editions du Masque). His latest noir novel is Loups solitaires (Editions Métailié). His K trilogy (Y, Rue de la Cloche and La Forcenée) is now available in paperback from Points.

Autobiographie pour Quais du Polar

Serge Quadruppani, né en 1952, est l’auteur de Maldonnes, roman où il semble insinuer qu’ayant voulu être bandit anarchiste, il s’est découvert plus doué pour écrire (une quarantaine de livres) et traduire (une centaine).
