About

Carin Gerhardsen was born in Sweden in 1962. She graduated in mathematics at the University of Uppsala and has since then pushed aside her career as computer engineer in order to write. She developed a keen interest in police investigations as a child, so she naturally turned to crime fiction. She is married, with two children, and lives in Stokholm.
