Diniz Galhos, born in 1978, is a translator and author. He is known for translating novels by Irvine Welsh and John King, as well as the adventures of the Bourbon Kid, which began with The Book with No Name. He has also translated Edyr Augusto’s thrillers from Portuguese (Brazil) for Asphalte (Caméléon translation prize). Gokan, his first novel (Cherche-Midi 2012, Pocket 2015), noir with a touch of pulp, won the Rotary Club First Novel Award in 2013. He lives in Paris.
