George Pelecanos


Born in 1957, George Pelecanos was a cook, a diver, a bartender and a shoe salesman before writing. Author of more than twenty novels, including  King Suckerman, The Double, Red Fury and The Martini Shot, he is also the illustrious director of the cult series The Wire and lives in Silver City, Maryland.
