About
Pieke Biermann was born 1950 in a village in northern Germany. She was raised by her mother and two older sisters.
In search of money, she has worked in various professions (postman, publisher, prostitute …) before becoming a writer (essays, detective novels, documentaries for television) and translator (Italian, English) since 1982.
She is the author of a series on a criminal brigade in Berlin.
