Ph.D. in Psychology and in Arts and Sciences, trained in psychoanalysis and in different types of psychotherapy. university professor, researcher and clinician, he has always been concerned, throughout his career, with the ties between psychopathology and society, between psychism and culture. In February 2003, after twenty-five years of teaching at university, he started to work within diplomatic networks. After being director of the office of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie ” for Great Lakes Africa in Bujumbura (Burundi), he was the Cultural Counsellor in the Embassy of France in Tel Aviv and in Conakry.
He has now dedicated himself to writing and to promoting cultural life. He was the first in France to include the migrant populations in his ‘ethno-crime fiction’ novels published by Rivages Editions (Saraka Bô, 1993; Dieu-Dope, 1995; 613. Roman, 1999; Serial Eater, 2004).
